    Most state tenant/landlord laws are similar. It takes at
    least thirty (30) days to get a tenant evicted. Simply use
    this experience as a lesson going forward. Always take a
    security deposit and first month's rent upon signing the
    lease. Also, have a thorough lease that protects your
    interests. Good luck!
