Well, there's actually a lot of issues going on here.
    1. Do you have a rental lease agreement? For our purposes
    here, I'll assume you're on a week-to-week rental lease.
    2. In Florida, week-to-week rental lease agreements can be
terminated with 7 days written notice.
    3. About the utilities, you'd have to protest it in court, at
which time you'd also have to answer for why you haven't paid
rent, and why you haven't vacated the property, and I'm
guessing you're not thrilled about the idea of showing up in
    court.
Given that the landlord is within his rights to ask you to
vacate after giving you 7 days written notice, I highly
recommend that you find a new place to live quickly. You can
probably talk to the new owner and negotiate for them not to
file for the eviction or go after you for unpaid rent if
you're out by the end of the weekend, or some kind of similar
    arrangement.
It's a tough situation when rental properties change
ownership, especially when you're used to dealing with one
landlord and suddenly another is in place.
Best of luck, and the sooner you can move, the better leverage
you'll have to avoid any legal repercussions.

PS - you don't want an eviction on your record, it'll make it
much harder to find a new rental lease
