How much is the bill? That seems like a lot of work on
everyone's part, over not a lot of money.
What a disaster of a culture we live in, where people sue a
landlord over a hundred bucks in a water bill. Glad to know
we're making sleazy lawyers rich and fat off of filling out a
few forms.
As for whether they can sue you, anyone can sue anyone else
for any reason, and if your tenant does in fact have a lawyer
(which may be a bluff), they might win a judgment for a few
hundred bucks. It'd be up to you whether you actually want to
pay it, and see what they invest in collecting from you.
