Post: Attorney Fee's for Sublease Agreement

Posted by Kevin on 4/16/07
Hi,
I am a current residential tenant who is subleasing the
space for the remainder of my lease agreement (one more
year). The owner of the building hired an attorney to
write the sub-lease and is now demanding that I pay for
the attorney fee's of $750.00.
Is it legal for the building owner to charge a tenant
attorney fees in this case? The owner did not include me
in the sub-lease negotiations.
Thanks for any information!
Kevin
