Ok we are in Sacramento,ca and we rented a duplex 2bd 1
bath.The landlord had us hurriedly fill out the application
and called us several times to correct mistakes.He approved
us and we signed a 6 month lease. He agreed to install
smoke detectors and one door was missing a door knob,He was
suppost to doit on the june first and still has not done
it.He told us he was in the progress of selling the
property and it was in escrow. The backyard is huge and
filled with weeds and garbage i guess he expects us to
clean it up even though i am disabled and explained to him
that it might be a problem doing yard work.

He then calls us tonight telling us that we need to refill
out completely the rental application and also resign the
lease.He says it is because the house is in escrow and the
need detailed info on us.

My wife is just libbed about all the hassle we have been
put through(There is more B.S. from this guy that is
involved)We have already signed onelease and given him
first months prorated rent for a june 10 move in as well as
the security deposit and we are suppost pay him the last
months rent as per the agreement by the end of july.

I guess what is the deal has anyone had problems like this
and what should we do about it.We like the place and want
to live there but were not sure if its worth the hassle the
idiot guy will be gone once escrow is closed and we will
have new landlords i am just not sure what to think of all
this
