Re: las vegas law for landlord tenant of being kicked out
Posted by Cindy on 12/29/07

    > Ray, I have also rented in Las Vegas and went through a
wrongful eviction case in court, the landlords did not win. I
can tell you that once you are served a pay or quit notice
and the landlord excepts any part of the rent, they are now
obligated to refile another claim if all of the rent has not
been paid. By law if they wanted you out ,they were not
supposed to collect a dime from you. You may go to the court
house and file a motion to stay. That will give you a court
date to plead you case before a Judge,MAKE SURE you let the
Judge know that the landlords accepted money after you were
    served a notice.
