    You are correct that DL Law Schools don't need to be accredited. But accreditation
    gives a certain level of assurance as to the quality of the programs. Accreditation
    also allows students certain tax credits that can't be offered by unaccredited
    schools.

    And besides, wouldn't you rather be able to say that you graduated from an
    accredited school - even if it's not ABA? (If all things being equal)

    I have nothing against ALU but I wonder why they can't get accredited. If I
    remember, they tried a few years back. Maybe the poor bar results?

    I may have been mistaken when I wrote they were a Korean corporation. But their
    website indicates they have Korean management.
