Re: Novus Law School

I did the whole JD course last year at Novus. It gave me exposure to the whole curriculum of law school. I had to write a couple of papers on each subject and take a multiple choice test at the end of each. The papers were graded, but I have no idea what the grading criteria was and there were no comments from the grader. There were no teachers and of course no human interaction. All but one of the text books were Gilbert Law Summaries and the multiple choice test was taken directly from them. I bought most of my books used on Amazon. I also did a dissertation, but again, there was no faculty advisor like there would be in a real university. Of course, I did not have to defend my dissertation. The course was exactly what I was looking for, but I have no intention of practicing law. I did not come away with any real legal research skills, no ability to write legal papers and no experience in a court or law office.
