Breyer State has removed nearly all references to Alabama
from its web site. The BSU web pages now specify the
address "Breyer State University, 950 West Bannock Street
Suite 1100, Boise, ID 83702" with phone and fax numbers
208-319-3676 and 208-319-3501, respectively.
That address is the "Banner Bank Building"; Suite 1100 is
controlled by Regus, an organization that provides, among
other things, virtual offices for clients in need of such
things. The same fax machine is shared with MSI System
Integrators' Boise office.
Google maps reports that Boise is 2,274 miles from Mobile,
Alabama and 2,079 miles from Niles, Ohio. So that's a long
way to drive to check on all those busy professors at the
new campus.
The image of the (expired) Breyer State Alabama license is
not avaliable anymore. And the "accreditation" claimed by
BSU continues to ooze from the "Association for Innovation
in Distance Education" which has also dripped its
credential onto Canyon College. AIDE uses a gmail account
for its electronic mail. Kinda low-overhead, that. And, of
course, the registration of the domain http://www.the-
aide.org is hidden behind a privacy service. Shy, like a
Scarlet Tanager (or maybe a Duck). Oh yeah, while we're
discussing the hiding of tracks, here's the Breyer State
Robots Exclusion file
