I took the bar for the first time Feb 24-25. I feel optimistic I passed it.

Bar/Bri is the best you can get. PMBR is good but I prefer Bar/Bri. Only thing I know about Emanuel is their
flash cards and Horn book; I didn't know they had a bar review course.

MBE is multiple choice. The type of questions changed this last exam. Most of the people I talked to after
the exam thought the new questions were harder than the old type. The old type were very tricky but if you
really knew the subject you could figure out which answer was correct and be reasonably sure of your choice.
The new type of questions are not as tricky but the answers are different. Instead of one clearly correct
answer (If you know what you're doing) there are two answers that are both close to correct. The new questions
and answers are "fuzzy" rather than tricky.

If you are skilled at writing, you should have no trouble with the MEE and MPT. The MEE questions are more
basic level than the MBE questions. You need to know your basic subject matter well but not so much of the
advanced or tricky parts of the subjects. Any subject is now fair game for the MEE. So all the usual MEE
subjects could show up as well as any of the MBE subjects.

The MPT does not require any knowledge outside the facts and law you are given. You must have good writing
skills and the ability to read, follow directions, and organize your answer.
