I started at NWCULAW 3 months ago. Like you, the nearest law
school would be 5 hours away so I opted for an online program.
While some people might feel that my education is inferior to
theirs, at 50, opinions no longer matter to me. I have a MA
in business and earned with a 3.9 avg., so I've proved myself
academically.

You will find NWCULAW has a LOT of opportunities for
interaction with your peers. There's usually about 28 people
per night in one of the discussion sessions with a professor.
There is also LOTS of case briefs and other homework
assignments to keep you busy. However, what I like best is
that unlike a traditional law school, you have to learn to
teach yourself law. You've got to be extremely dedicated and
willing to make yourself sit down and study as much as
possible, with little encouragement or support and thus it's
all up to you. Lots of online graduates never pass the bar
because they don't have the inner drive and motivation to get
them through it. However, those few whom do in my opinion, are
probably the types of people whom would have received an A at
Harvard due to the extreme amount of perseverance it takes.
If, and only if I make it that far, I will be very proud of my
accomplishment and I hope you will be just as proud of yours too.
