Last month I was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis,
basically the femoral head in both of my hips are dying. I
had a hip replacement on my right hip almost 2 weeks ago
and will have surgery on my left hip within the next month.
My orthopedic surgeon that the Prednisone that I was
prescribed in the past caused this to happen to me. I am
only 44 years old and all of this has been a complete shock
to me. Being so young I will have to have another hip
replacement in my elderly years. Is there anything that I
can do to the makers of Prednisone or atleast the previous
doctor for not informing me that this drug could cause
this?
