Post: TX: Moving during divorce

Posted by Becca on 1/14/10

I am a mother of two, and their dad (my husband) wanted
nothing to do with them until about 2 or 3 weeks ago. We've
been separated over 2 years so I decided to find his
replacement. Now that I have found someone else my ex has
changed his mind- now he wants to see our children on an
every other weekend basis. I had already made plans to move
out of state to be with my new find, but our signed
documents bind me to tarrant and contiguous counties. The
papers have not yet been approved. Is there a way for me to
still move? I don't want to keep the kids from their dad,
but driving over 2500 miles a month isn't going to work.
How do I go about doing it, and how long will it take?
