Post: IL: Employer forgot to deduct insurence.

Posted by Sam Watson on 1/16/10

If my wife's employer forgot to take out the fees from her
pay check for medical insurance for a whole year and now
come to me and say that I have to pay them the $7000 now,
    is that legal?

Do I have any legal recourse. Yes I did get the medical
benefits but shouldn't they be responsible for some kind of
time limitation to report their mistake to my wife?

    Thanks

    Sam Watson
