My girlfriend has a first court appearance for two felony
charges, but she is being held in another county because
these charges were a violation of her probation in the
county she's being held. Will the county that has her in
custody transport her to the county in which she was
charged and who has scheduled the appearance or will she be
a no show and get into more trouble for not appearing? I've
talked to her public defenders in both counties and they
both say she won't be transported. That doesn't seem right.
Should I appear for her?
