my husband goes to court for sentencing jan 23 for his 2nd
dwi. his 1st being a little over 3 years ago.he was on
private property, mudding in his bosses field, the cops
just happened to be driving on the county road & had to
turn on to the field road where the private property begins
to drive to the field where my husband was. my husband told
them he was on private land & the cop asked my husband his
bosses number & called him, of course my husband had
permission to be there. but they took him in anyways &
charged him with dwi#2. my husband had worked all day &
quit time when he got to his truck (which was parked at a
grain bin...on the private property) he had a few drinks &
decided to go 4 wheel driving in a field he had permission
to be in, not crossing any public or county roads. is it
legal for the cops to come uninvited on private property &
charge him for dwi if he wasnt desturbing the peace or on
public property?
