Post: Flood culpability after notice to fix aged waterheater

Posted by Steven Gresik on 1/14/19

My upstairs condo neighbor has flooded me four times. All
his appliances break before he replaces them. The issue now
    is his

ancient water heater. Is there anything I can do to make
him liable if it leaks on me? Can I sue him after warning
him of my concern? I fully expect it to leak before he
replaces it. All the information I keep getting says he’ll
only be liable for my insurance deductible. This can’t be
    right.
