If I purchase products from a supplier, is it illegal for me to disclose any information regarding that transaction to a third party. For example, assume I own a store that sells TV's. Sony comes to me and offers to pay for my Quickbooks accounting program if I remain loyal to them when purchasing my inventory. However Sony in return will have the ability to access my purchasing habits, meaning they can view how much I spend on their competition such as Samsung, Sharp and Toshiba. Assuming I am willing to give such information to Sony, am I in violation of any laws that may prohibit me from disclosing my transactions with other suppliers.
