Post: IL: final car payment

I am about to make my final car payment and the lender
sent me a final payment notice which $ 120.04 more than is
expected. I called the bank and was told that my final
payment is based on a daily late charge. My final payment
was due on 4/24/08 and the late fee is noted on the
contract as $ 29.10. is this additional charge legal?.
