Post: PA: child visitation rights for grandfather

My son has a child who is 2 1/2. They are not married and
are no longer living together. The boy's mother will not
permit me to see the child.

Child services conducted a background check on me and I
was approved.

Do I need to hire a lawyer or can I just go to child
services for help in obtaining my visiting priviledges.
