Posted by Vivian A. Wilson, Vivianvivia@aol.com, on 10/27/01

I have been injured 2 times already at my present job the
first injury workers comp paid for it although it took them
from February 21st 2001 to July 3rd 2001 to settle this
    claim involveing my left shoulder,May 7th 2001 I had
surgery on my left shoulder and I was already back at work
when they paid my lost time under Doctors orders not to
lift more than 15 pounds, I am a nurseing assistant at a
local hospital and it is impossible not to lift patients,no
one would acknowledge this Doctors restrictions, and I went
through horrible pain on Augaust 21st again I was injured
I was wheeled to the emergency room by wheel chair my
workers comp Doctor injected my left shoulder and I was
also complaining with my neck, He wouldnt even talk about
my neck let alone look at it. I was then forced through
pain to see my family Doctor who refered me to another
orthopedist whom ordered an MRI,when the results of that
MRI came back I had a ruptured disk in my neck as well as
another disk in question. I had a 2nd surgury as a result
of all of this September 27th, this time workers comp
denied this claim as of October4th 2001. It sure did not
take long to deny, If they had of approved this claim I
would still be waiting to hear from it.
