In most cases, if you quit, you don't get unemployment. While I don't have any direct knowledge of GA statutes on the subject, in most states that I am familiar with quitting because of a "commuting" reason is NOT sufficient for benefits. While I'm not denying that your reason for quitting is valid, I question whether the GA UC is going to charge your former employer's account on this basis. You might want to try calling Unemployment and see what they say.
