John I live in Florida and according to the information I
received once you agreed to pay the child support you are
saying that you are the father of this child. You need to
start by obtaining the documentation of the paternity and
filing a petition to stop the child support order. This is
worth a try. You can get more information at the family
court in your state they will have a package for modification
of the child support order. Good luck!
