I'm not an attorney, and maybe I shouldn't be using this
site, but I need some answers or a place to start. My
sister was recently killed in an auto accident 9/5/01. Her
husband was killed in an auto accident 11/29/00 (both in
Ohio). Their deaths left a 6 yr. old son with me as his
guardian. He's doing great and has adjusted well to living
in Florida. My question is if it would be more beneficial
to him for my husband and I to adopt him in the future or
for me to continue to be his guardian? Any input would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you
