Post: minor child moved out - what is my responsibility

My 17 year old son has left home. He will be 18 in April.
While I'm not thrilled with this, it may be the best for
us.
Question: we have a vehicle in our name that he has been
using. Our intent was to turn title over to him at 18.
Can he hold title as a minor? And what is my
responsibility if he should have an accident?
Outside of the vehicle, what liability issues may I face
with him outside of my home?
