    Post: Childsupport increase/joint custody

Posted by Doug White, arizona_01_2000@yahoo.com, on 1/06/02

I am seeking advice on a childsupport issue. I am the
father that pays childsupport. I have paid since we were
divorced in 93' & have spent holidays, vacations, etc. with
my daughter. I have not neglected her what so ever. I
worked 2, sometimes 3 jobs & was going to college full time
when she left me. I joined the Army went over seas & was
only able to see my daughter 6 times in 4.5 years. Once in
95' where I came home from Germany & the whole trip cost me
3,500 dollars. Anyways, to make a long story short, I send
my daughter home after spending Christmas together &
because I didn't mail her stuff to her my daughters mother
threatened to raise my childsupport payments. My question
is, I am in Montana & she is in Arizona. I want to know
how I can go about getting at least joint custody. I am
not forcing my daughter to live with me, but I have gone 10
years watching her grow up in pictures & I feel I deserve
to be there for her & have a part in her raising. My ex's
new husband that she has been with for 9+ years now has
custody of his son & his ex-wife is approx. 35,000 dollars
behind in child support. How can I fight this whole stupid
deal & win back the rights of being the father to my
daughter & not having this affair having, non-working,
control wanting woman unable to mess with me ever again.
Please contact me at the above email if you have any
    answers, questions, or suggestions....Greatfully
    appreciated.....
