True, some doctors take advantage of the the position that they hold. So do lawyers, businessmen, politicians, and God knows who else. In anything that we do as humans, there will always be someone there to take advantage f he other person. I say, however, that i is the few who make the many look bad. I have a heart problem, and my cardiologist, even in the face of adversity, said they didn't need to operate. He saved me a lot of money and aguish from the operation. There are good doctrs out there, the majority of them. Personally, for the risks I would be taking and the level of proficiency and schooling necessary to be a doctor, I would want to be compensated well. Let me ask you, all these people who bash on doctors; if you were given the chance to truly use your position for financial gain, do you think you wouldn't take it? I have my doubts if many people say they wouldn't. Another thing, do you think you could make it through medical school, and accept the responsibility? Put yourself in the shoes of someone else before judging them.
