I'm not catching your drift on this one. If i think what your askng is, can the contractor re-estimate. I believe he can, or other wise he would have to eat it. Unless it's in the contract, he may have to eat it, or he can walk off the job. Hit you with a lien on your house. Best bet is work this out as amicably as you can. How much more are we talking here?
