Re: What law office software do you use?

I have worked for legal firms for the past 17 years I am not a legal expert but work within IT. The products that I have found which are mainly used are as follows: 1. Office 97/Office 2000, incorporating Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, FrontPage. 2. Most law firms use Outlook for their e-mail although some use Lotus Notes and use the database facilities within it, this can also be used for an Intranet. 3. The last 2 or 3 firms I have worked out used a mixture of Novell & NT. 4. You would need some sort of timekeeping package either Carpediem, AIM etc. 5. You will also probably need to get a legal forms package and those which are most widely used are Laserforms, Oyez Forms or Shaw & Sons.
