Grand Rapids, MI., February 12, 2004 - Paladigm, Inc., a
leader in litigation-support technology, announces the
initiation of its electronic data discovery service.
Paladigm® has created a new software application, InQuery
Discovery Toolkit™, that:
· Opens each email and converts the message to an electronic
TIFF or PDF image.
· Unzips and opens each attachment in its native application.
· Converts the attachments to TIFF or PDF images.
· Performs optical character recognition (OCR) on both the
email and the attached images, thereby creating text
versions in TXT format.
· Captures specific data from each email message, including
author, date, subject, recipient, and CCs.
· Assigns Bates numbers and/or other text messages (i.e. –
confidential) to the images.
· Imports the images and text files into Paladigm’s InQuery
for Litigation™ Document Management System that is available
on the Web.
