Post: Sepsis blood infection

Posted by Gregory Moss on 11/27/09

My father contracted a blood infection about four years
ago due to a tech handling a contaminated needle and using
it to set my father on his dyalisis. Two day later after
feeling really ill, he went to the hospital and they
diagnosed him, he had a blood infection, as aresult of the
infection my father had to haver surgery on his left hip
total hip replacement, my father got a lawyer and for the
last four years my father hasnt heard any thing as far as
compensation from the insurance company, at the time of
the incident he had a wittness and he still does, he has
been deposed and his lawyer feels as though the incubation
period from the so called "staph" infection will cause a
prolem in a trial so he dropped my fathers case and said
he would not represent my father anymore, however the
symptoms of a staph infection never showed, no redness or
boils or bumps, so I need a lawyer that will fight for my
father and prove that he did not contract a "staph "
infection from anywhere as the insurance company claims
but from the incident when the tech stuck him with a
contaminated needle. Please respond as soon as possible
for my father only has 6 months to find proper
    representation. Thank you very much.
