My wife went in to donate a kidney to her sister. During
the procedure, her spleen was "torn" and the bleeding could
not be stopped so a splenectomy was performed. Instead of 3
days in hospital, minor scarring and full imunities, she
spent 6 days in the hospital with significant pain, a 12"
scar down her belly and reduced imunity for life. My
question is should i seek counsel for this or is this just
the risk of donating a kidney?
