I just had 2 knee surgeries Jan 4th (ACL) and Feb 3rd
(Meniscus) 2006. they said my meniscus was torn 70%, and
that if it had been caught (2yrs ago during last knee
surgery on ACL), it could have been prevented. the dr.
that operated on it (my ACL) 2 years ago never said
anything about my meniscus to me, but in my ex-rays you
can clearly see that the dr was pointing right at it.
the dr. that did my last surgery said that both my ACL and
Meniscus should have been done at the same time 2 years
ago to prevent further damage. i have been playing HS
football for 2 years with this without ever knowing it. i
now have to go to physical therapy 3 times a week for 3
months. and i can't accept my college scholarships for
football now.
is this malpractice? what can i do if anything?
