**Hi Barb... I am very curious if you have found any answers
in lue of your situation. My husband has a spinal cord
stimulator which was quickly installed after a un-needed
surgery .. he now has nerve damage from a surgery he did not
require.. and the pain doctors opted for a spinal cord
stimulator. He has had this device for less than 1.5 yrs
and his doctors can't seem to program it correctly, etc....
I am sure you know the drill. It has never worked properly
for him. They are telling him he should now have it removed,
or go through more extensive surgery. I am curious if you
would not mind letting me know who you were recommended to ,
to find out you were mis-diagnosed. We are at the point
that we don't know which way to turn at this moment. He is
still in severe pain , trying desperately to work for his
family. The pain mgmt doctors may feel they are helping,
however, they have created more physical and mental pain
than he started out with. Not to mention loss of work ,
loss of happiness, and loss of overall living. Please
respond back to me at the email provided. Again , I am
interested in who you found to tell you the truth about your
medical situation. and if possible, how you found this
doctor... was there a network of them, etc. Thankyou in
advance for any help you can give us. My husband like you,
is looking to get his life back. Tonya
