    Here's something that you already know works: Meeting
    potential clients.

    There is only one of you (I assume), so think about ways
    you can leverage yourself so that you can "meet" potential
    clients all the time, even when you're sleeping. Do you
    write articles? Maintain a blog? Send a periodic email to
    potential clients? Speak to groups?

    Watch out for this common mistake: If you don't have
    fascinating information that's all that different from what
    anyone else has, simply offering info may not be the way to
    go. You really have to convey your authenticity,
    personality, and professionalism -- the factors that
    differentiate you from your competition.

    Of course web video is a great way to get in front of
    people in a polished, inviting setting that works for you
    24-hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.

    Try this: This month, pick one new way to leverage
    yourself, and get started.
