Post: What happens next?

My dtr is a victim in reference to an assault/battery
against a minor (my dtr is 16) the perpetrator is (18yrs)
In short the 18 put her in a headlock until her airway was
blocked off and she nearly passed out. we supposedly filed
for an arrest for "assault/battery against a minor" but he
may be coming back to school next week. What happens next
and what can I do as the parent to prevent further harm to
my daughter with this person?
