Post: Misdemeanor Theft Under $25 Eleven Years

Eleven years ago I was charges with a simple misdemeanor
theft under $25 after purchasing $100 of merchandise and
having one item left in the bottom of the cart. I did not
contest or get a lawyer at the time. Do simple
misdemeanor's drop off records and will it show up on an
employer's back ground check?
