I'm writing a novel and need to know about what a person
would be (or could be) charged with if she found an
abandoned baby and, instead of calling the police or
turning it in to someone, she decided to keep it. In my
novel, she gets found out (of course) but what would she
likely be charged with?

I appreciate any help you can give me with this.
