    I'd recommend Bar/Bri, as that's what I used to pass PA & NJ. If you don't want the
    expense, pick up used copies of the books on Craigs' list or eBay. Try to do as
    much of the paced program as you can. Figure you're going to be spending at least
    4-6 hours a day on this, and probably more.

    I found the NJ essays to be more like law school exams- parade of people doing all
    sorts of actionable stuff to one another, and the question is "discuss all the claims,
    counter claims, chances of success and applicable defenses". Jersey allows you to
    use _whatever_ law you like to apply, as long as you explain it. All my NJ questions
    talked about PA law...

    PA was trickier- much more specific questions. DUI wasn't used, but employment
    law was used on the performance test. I was thankful that I took employment law.

    Of course, practice the MBE- it's 40% of the score in PA, and 50% in NJ, and those
    subjects are 75% of the essays.
