Re: Celebration Bar Review

I took the Celebration course for the second time I took the Texas bar. My score increased by 100 points. I still didn't pass (yes my previous score was that bad). I took Barbri the previous attempt. Barbri incorporated unnecessary lengthy material, while Celebration provided an excellent, structured method and increased my score. My not passing was not celebration's fault, but some issues that came up due to a lack of time for studying. Just as with anyone who needs a refresher course, time and diligence are key. My opinion is that everyone learns differently and the right course for one person may not be the right course for another person. Barbri is good if you need alot of materials, you prefer sitting in a classroom for lectures, and yiu don't need structure. You mainly need only to study and some practice. Personally, I preferred Celebration becauee they provided a set study plan (similar to a syllabus) and plenty of practice. I could complete the assignments or listen to assignments around a busy schedule as long as I started the course a few months in advance. I would personally recommend Celebration and now that I'm moving wish they covered the jurisdiction I'm going to for state specific materials! Regardless of what course you take good luck and remember practice, practice, practice questions on all sections are the key!!!
