There are a number of firms that hire entry level paralegals
who have degrees.

If you are going the online route, you need to be reallly
careful. The legal field is still more partial to actual
onsite programs.

Check the site of the American Association for Paralegal
Education:

www.aafpe.org

Most people attend Kaplan online. the other school is UMUC.
these schools are both institutional members of AAFPE.

Is there a community college in your area? You can get the
certificate that way, especially if there is a program that
is ABA approved. This is the best route and the most cost
effective route to go.

You can also obtain that information from the AAFPE website.
They have links to give you guidance in selecting your
paralegal education.
