    Lisa, in order to be a paralegal, you either need to get a
    Certification (2 years program) or get a BA Degree. Most
    Law Firms these days require a BA Degree. It is very
    difficult to find a job in this field without sufficient
    education. You may be able to use some of the courses you
    took in advertising to obtain a certification in Paralegal
    Studies, but most of the Courses are different than what you
    have already studied. Also go to NALA's web site (National
    Association of Legal Assistants to obtain more information.
