Post: Transcribing

Can anyone help? Can a paralegal bill it's time for
transcribing dictation from the attorney even though the
attorney signs said transcribtion? My boss owes me a
steak lunch if I can prove to him that I can bill my time
transcribing even a letter even though he signs it.
