Post: Salary Employees

A friend of mine is a salaried employee. He was late by
an hour and ahalf one day. The ask him to come in on his
day without pay because he is salaried. They say he has
to make up the hour and a half. Is this legal by
employment law? Any reply would be appreciated. Thank
