YOU CAN EASILY TEACH YOURSELF TO DO A "PRIOR ART" SEARCH. JUST GO TO WWW.USPTO.GOV, AND FIND THE SEARCH TOOL FOR ISSUED PATENTS. ALSO, YOU CAN FIND THE SEARCH TOOL FOR PUBLISHED PATENT APPLICATIONS. THEN, TYPE THE SEARCH TERMS OF INTEREST IN THE BOX READING "CLAIMS." THERE IS NO REASON TO FIND AN ATTORNEY WHO LIVES NEAR YOU, ASIDE FROM KEEPING THE TELEPHONE BILL DOWN. THERE ARE PLENTY OF PATENT ATTORNEYS IN ATLANTA, GA, AND IN HOUSTON, TEXAS. FOR DOING YOUR PATENT SEARCH, JUST TYPE "MARKING TAGS" where the dialogue box reads "claims" and also type "marking tags" where the dialogue box reads, "all fields." PLEASE ALSO REMEMBER, THAT ONLY A PATENT ATTORNEY OR PATENT AGENT CAN DO AN ADEQUATE PATENTABILITY SEARCH AND PATENTABILTY ANALYSIS FOR YOU. LAYPERSONS CANNOT DO THIS COMPLETELY ON THEIR OWN. Yours, Tom Brody, Registered Patent Agent (THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE)
