12/12/07, CTK INVESTIGATIONS: C HARRIS, the first question would be what state are you in? In the state of Florida a qualified employer would be responsible for paying you indemnity benefits at 66 2/3% of your salary for up to two years, that is if the workers' compensation doctor takes you out of work. As far as the personal injury or "third party case" is concerned, you have the right to pursue a claim against the tort feasor as well as your workers' compensation carrier. Again, this information is for Florida. www.ctkinvestigations.com On 11/05/07, Shaun Setareh wrote: > I assume that the person who came to you was from the > driver's insurance company who caused the accident.
