Post: Broken ankle three surgeries what to expect???

Posted by Jhon Fields on 4/02/08

I slipped at work two years ago, but was not at my work
location. I was in a parking lot delivering goods. My
lawyer seems to think there is a case... Ive had three
surgeries and finally lost my sub-talor ankle joint. There
is also five screws and a plate in my ankle from the break
and the fusion. I've been of work for around 10 months
total, and have endured horrible pain caused by uneven
ground, or even just trying to take the first step in the
morning. (my ankle has to pop/crunch when I first get out of
bed before I can walk without excrutiating pain.)

What should I expect?? whats the minimum you would take?
I owe workers comp around $60,000 for the surgeries and
doctors visits, to give you an idea of what real costs are.
I know your thinking that I don't have a case because it
is workers comp, but I was injured off grounds, and the
company in question had not hired a snowplow driver for the
lot for the last three years, they would only plow in front
of the store, not the back....

    What do you think?
