Post: advice me

hi, today i parked my car in my apt. person from next
car(already parked) asked me to roll down my window and
yelled "you were about to hit my car" i replied "oh, did i
hit you?!" he said again "you were about to hit my car" then
continuied as "you were so close. i may have to call the
police" i said "sorry" many times and went away.he then kept
quite. but i was so much embarrassed by the way he asked me
to ro role down the window and pointing me out and
threatening me about police. what should i have done in that
place?
