Post: do i need aplaintiffattorny if I think my brother poisoned m

I am concerned that my father was given some drug overdose
in august of 03. he bled out ... and i now have his blood
work the day he died and 2 days before he died. I had a
federal agent tell me i need to hire a plaintiffs attorney
and then take it to the da ..isthis true ? why?
