If you have a degree from a ABA approved law school great, go forth and be productive. As I see it we have over two million lawyers in the US, and the great majority make what amounts to middle management money. I have encountered many, Bar certified, who quickly move on to other things, and the degree is simply a sign of accomplishment, and a great credential. The MBA is a Ubiquitous degree that can be had in as little as 18 months, and in no way measures up to any JD from an accredited law school. It is very narrow minded to view education in terms of what is best for you. We all learn in many ways, and it takes a sharp mind to do it on your own, which is what online and distance learning is all about. As I read through the post I thought it prudent to check and see if the primary California school continued to offer the Executive Juris Doctor, and see that they continue, despite comments going back to 2006 stating they would be out of business. Finally, the Executive portion of the JD only relates the type of program focus. I don't think it is required to make note of your program emphasis as many school offer Executive degree program, but don't print Executive on the actual degree. Be proud of what you have and have accomplished, and stop attempting to elevate yourself by downing others.
